This is a traditional Irish jig that will really give your right hand a workout. There are six notes to each measure, and the beat is emphasized on the first and fourth note. Please follow the pick directions that are specified in the music and the tablature, so that the first note is played with a downward pick (not so difficult), and the fourth beat is played with an upward pick (very difficult).

Once you get the hang of the tune, try the second version. This version adds some traditional Irish ornamentation in the form of drones and chords, and grace notes. The grace notes should be played by pulling your finger off of the string very quickly, so that the first note of the second triplet (or the fourth note of the measure) is played in the correct time.
